Licampa 1617 S.L. unites with The Music Republic to operate “Casal España Arena de València”

  • The union between both companies creates “València 5 Estrellas S.L.”, set up for the management of the venue
  • The new company will develop partnership strategies cooperating with sector specialists

València, 16th November 2020 – Licampa 1617 S.L., Juan Roig´s holding company, specifically shaped to build a sustainable Arena in València, and The Music Republic on behalf of Arena Alive S.L., join together to form “València 5 Estrellas S.L.”, a company set to run Casal España Arena of València, an international-stature indoor venue prepared for sporting, cultural and entertainment events.

València 5 Estrellas S.L. will be the operating company. It will oversee the management of the venue, its extra facilities and other future services, as well as addressing several agreements with promoters, service suppliers and other stakeholders. This new company is determined to develop strategies to ensure that Casal España Arena de València welcomes many events, providing great experiences to its users and thus contributing to the positioning of both València and Comunitat Valenciana as a benchmark in entertainment.

One of the company’s main objectives will be to generate products and areas to supplement local ones, and where local and international promoters can launch any kind of sports or entertainment events, regardless of their nature or format; keeping it economically sustainable simultaneously.

Víctor Sendra, CEO of Licampa 1617 S.L., cherishes this agreement, “A significant milestone has been reached in this project, it allows us to move forward in the management of the venue alongside partners that are highly specialized in the organization and creation of musical and entertainment experiences, and in bringing top level references to Comunitat Valenciana. In addition, we share the same vision regarding the future of Casal España Arena de València. We have long way to go and we are very excited to create a team that will help us succeed with a project that is so important for València and for which Juan Roig’s patronage is fully committed.”

On the other hand, The Music Republic sets up the company Arena Alive S.L. exclusively planned to unify with Licampa 1617 S.L. and operate in tandem the venue. David Sánchez, CEO of The Music Republic, considers that: “It is a great opportunity for València and Spain, having the first Arena of such magnitude and capabilities, designed to host all kinds of cultural, sports and corporate events, labelling itself as an attractive venue for final users and the maximum number of event promoters. València will be able to host many events that could not be accommodated to date due to the lack of equipped and specialized spaces. We are very pleased and grateful for contributing in the management of this great project together with Licampa 1617 S.L., as part of Juan Roig´s patronage. With everyone´s effort we believe that we will be able to turn the venue into a point of reference”.
