Work on the car park of the Casal España Arena de València Project begins

Valencia, 04 of August 2022 – Licampa 1617 begins work on the car park of the Casal España Arena de València project tomorrow, after having received the works licence. This new infrastructure, with over 1,000 spaces, will contribute to guaranteeing the best possible experience for attendees travelling to the venue by private vehicle.

Parking simulation promoted by Licampa1617

The new parking area will be located next to the La Font de Sant Lluís pavilion and Calle Pintor Gassent, and will be connected to the venue by a public park with green areas, which will serve as a link between the car park and the main entrance. The plan is to build a total of eight floors, with four upper floors and three underground floors, in addition to the ground floor.

For the construction of this new space, in which approximately 30 suppliers are participating, providing jobs to over 150 people, the company has forecast an allocation of 20 million euros. The sum forms part of the total of €220M forecast for the full financing of this project, a charitable initiative by Juan Roig, whose investment comes fully from his personal wealth.

This new infrastructure has been and is an element of special importance in the project, as since it began, access and parking for vehicles has been taken into close consideration, both for the service and experience of future users, and integration into the surroundings of the neighbourhood and its residents. Likewise, the viability of the area and all existing accessibility options have been closely analysed, such as taxi ranks and parking for buses, as well as a metro stop of the new line 10.
